Nicki Bolingbroke

BSc MCSP AACP

Nicki trained at Brunel University and has over 30 years’ experience in physiotherapy.  She started in the NHS before moving to Guernsey in 1994.  She has also worked in New Zealand for nearly 3 years.

Nicki treats many conditions in the primary care setting.  She is a musculoskeletal therapist with an interest in sports medicine and Orthopaedics.  She enjoys manual therapy and rehabilitation with particular interests in shoulder and lower limb problems and also enjoys assisting with recovery gym and exercise-related problems and injuries.  She also has an interest in tendon problems and has been using Shock Wave since 2016 to promote tendon recovery and function.

She has also been involved with many sports teams including rugby and football and has worked at the Aland and Isle of Man Island Games.  Nicki has also been involved in working with Guernsey’s Strongest for the last few years, and more recently, Herm’s Strongest.   She also has an interest in cycling-related problems and qualified as a BikeFit Pro in 2013.  She is also qualified to practise acupuncture with AACP registration and has many years’ experiences.

Whilst in New Zealand, Nicki worked with the Home and Older Adult Service, participating in data collection for Falls Prevention Services. So, she is happy to treat a wide range of patients from ages 9-99.

In her spare time, Nicki enjoys karate, road biking, mountain biking, gardening and animals.
