Our private ADHD assessment service for children and young people under 18 provides a structured, evidence-based approach to identifying Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect attention, impulse control, and activity levels. We offer a clear, supportive pathway for families seeking answers, combining clinical expertise with a compassionate and transparent process.
Assessment process and appointments:
The ADHD assessment pathway consists of four stages.
- The initial screening consultation is a 10-minute appointment with our experienced Consultant Paediatrician, priced at £94, and is payable at the time of booking.
- If appropriate, the patient will obtain pre-assessment forms which needs to be filled in, then the patient will progress to a QB check screening assessment during a 30-minute consultation.
- The last stage of the assessment is a comprehensive 120-minute clinical ADHD assessment with Dr Neele Hamilton, which includes a full clinical evaluation, diagnosis consideration.
- The final appointment is a 20-minute consultation and treatment planning session.
The total cost for the full ADHD assessment pathway is £1,855. The initial screening consultation is not included in the total price.
If the information we receive before the assessment does not match what is discussed during the appointment, further observation at school may be required. This would be an extra cost and is not included in the total price.
Follow-up appointments are not included in the total cost and are at the usual private consultation rate of £94.
Fees and payment:
We are committed to transparent and upfront pricing for all ADHD assessments. This is a fully private service, and all appointments must be paid for in advance with clear acknowledgement of fees at the point of booking. There are no hidden costs, and patients will receive full confirmation of all charges before proceeding. Payment of this assessment must be paid following the initial consultation with Dr Hamilton, this can be in full or instalment over three months, with the last payment being made before the concluding consultation.
Eligibility:
This service is available for children and young people under the age of 18, who may be experiencing symptoms consistent with ADHD.
