Coronavirus

As the Island moves through the phases of ‘de-escalation’, we are moderating our approach to the wearing of face masks and the use of lateral flow tests (LFT) in the Practice with effect from Monday 4th April 2022.

The following guidelines will come into force on Monday 4th April and are consistent with Public Health advice:

Patients attending the Practice

  • There is no routine requirement for patients to undertake lateral flow testing prior to coming to the surgery if they do not have any symptoms that might be COVID (cough, sneeze, sore throat etc)
  • If a patient is symptomatic they should undertake lateral flow testing.
  • If a patient who is symptomatic has a negative lateral flow test negative they should attend the surgery wearing a face-mask/ covering
  • If a patient has a positive LFT please follow Public health guidance
  • If a patient has a positive LFT and needs to be seen at the GP surgery, please call the Practice on 01481 724184 and we will advise you of the best course of action
  • Patients are welcome to wear face masks  if they choose when attending the Practice

We would like to thank all of you for being so helpful in these challenging times.

We are very sorry to have to cancel the Menopause talk on 6th July due to COVID19. We hope to rearrange it soon. Please watch this space and apologies for any inconvenience caused.FREE MENOPAUSE EDUCATIONAL TALK 6th JULY

Are you on a menopause journey? Whether you're approaching it or experiencing symptoms, menopause can affect everyone differently and it's so important to talk about it.

We were delighted at the overwhelming response we had to our free menopause educational evenings with Dr Petra du Plessis last year. They were a great success. From what we’ve heard, there seems to be a lack of understanding in the wider community on this topic and it was fantastic to see so many of you interested in learning more. We have therefore planned another!

This year’s will take place in the Reading Room at Les Cotils on Wednesday 6th July at 7.00pm for an hour. The talk will cover symptoms, diagnosis, medical and non-medical treatments along with the associated risks and benefits, with time to answer questions at the end.

NUMBERS ARE LIMITED SO PLEASE EMAIL MANDY REGAN AT mandyregan@eqrmp.com TO GUARANTEE YOUR PLACE.

In the meantime, if anyone has any questions about the menopause (or women’s health in general) or would like to book an appointment with their GP, please call us on 724184.

Congratulations. This looks to be a fantastic site for the surgery and pharmacy. Lots more parking too. I'm excited for you all as Queens Road has served you well but it's a very tired old building now.

Great to see that the facade of Spencer Gerhold Hall will be preserved.

This is a great place for you to move too. Congratulations I look forward to seeing it.

I am not sure if people who rely on the bus will be too pleased about having to walk down from the top of the grange

Looks great, can't wait to be able to use it. That area has so many childhood memories for me

Looks amazing! Will there still be a little walkway from the site to st Joseph's carpark?

Great news much more spacious!

Amazing facility, is the fabulous stained glass window in the hall, going to feature?

That is a great site for your building....

Looks fab. I don’t think anyone will miss your current car park!

So looking forward to this
