As the Island continues to move through the phases of recovery from the last lockdown, we are now in the position that we can cease to offer dedicated ‘hot clinics’ to our patients with affect from Monday 17th May 2021.
The vaccination programme continues at pace and with no COVID circulating in the community, this should be a safe move, consistent with the approach taken at the PEH where patients are no longer separated in waiting rooms.
When making an appointment, please let us know if you have any respiratory type illness and then wear a mask/ face-covering when attending either surgery.
If you have symptoms that could signal COVID you can still attend either surgery but you will be requested to wait in your car upon arrival, avoiding the waiting room and to wear a mask/ face-covering when entering the building.
If a patient has COVID symptoms but does not need a doctor we ask that they call the Public Health clinical helpline on 756938 or 756969 where they will be advised accordingly.
We would like to thank all of you for being so helpful in these challenging times, particularly patients registered at Le Longfrie who have been most inconvenienced by the changes we have had to make!
