Queens Road Medical Practice introduced its first in-house paediatric specialist consultant in 2026, strengthening the range of expert services available to families across Guernsey. For the first time, patients can access specialist-level paediatric care within the familiar surroundings of their GP surgery, offering reassurance, continuity, and convenience for parents and young people alike.
Treatment areas

- Asthma, eczema, and allergies
- Recurrent abdominal pain
- Headache assessement and management
- Preventive child healthcare
- Children with problems with constipation
- Urinary problems, such as bedwetting
- Blood tests on all ages
Developmental care
- Developmental checks at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months
- Annual developmental reviews up to school age
- Use of ultrasound as a supportive diagnostic tool where appropriate
About Dr Neele Hamilton
Dr Neele Hamilton is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician on the GMC Specialist Register. She studied medicine in Berlin, completed postgraduate training in Kent, and undertook specialist paediatric training in Germany. Her career has included clinical research in Berlin and South Africa, focusing on childhood tuberculosis, alongside a postgraduate qualification in infectious diseases completed in East Africa.
In recent years, Dr Hamilton has focused on delivering paediatric care within a primary care setting, combining specialist expertise with a community-based approach. She provides consultations for infants, children, and young people under the age of 18, managing both acute illnesses and long-term conditions while helping to develop enhanced children’s services within the practice.
Her approach places strong emphasis on preventive healthcare, early intervention, and supporting families at every stage of a child’s development.

Consultations are available for children and young people under 18 years of age.
Appointments are private (£97 per consultation). Payment or valid proof of health insurance is required at the time of booking.
Some conditions and developmental assessments may require a nurse appointment and follow-up consultations.
Referral to secondary care paediatricians or other specialists may be arranged where clinically appropriate.
