Dr Wright has worked in the NHS for 20 years, with the last 15 years as a GP in a practice in Wiltshire.
Additionally she has worked for the Wiltshire local health authority as a GP advisor for 10 years and is a GP Appraiser.
In 2018 she has received her accreditation as a GP with Extended Role (GPwER) in Dermatology and Minor surgery, and has worked in a Community Dermatology Clinic until her move to Guernsey in June 2024.

Apart from Dermatology, she has particular interests in nutrition, lifestyle medicine and developing local health services for the benefit of the local population.

In her spare time, Dr Wright is a self-taught florist and flower farmer, and has managed to relocate most of her cutting garden to the island. She enjoys walking, foreign languages and learning about different cultures and people.
